Chemistry 11
This is an introductory course stressing both laboratory skills and conceptual understanding. Major topics covered include lab safety, properties of substances, the periodic table, atomic structure, the mole concept, inorganic nomenclature, and solution chemistry.
This course is highly recommended for students pursuing a career in Health Sciences, Science, and Applied Science. This course appeals to students who demonstrate an avid interest in sciences and chemistry. Moreover, future students should be able to collaborate with others and be able to participate in class discussions.




Chemistry 12
This is a more advanced course extending from Chemistry 11 which intends to prepare students for university entrance. Some topics that are covered includes reaction kinetics, dynamic equilibrium, and solubility equilibrium.
Students who want to pursue sciences in post-secondary are strongly encouraged to take this course. However, students must be able to meet the course prerequisites.
