Physics 11 and 12 (AP) is a two year algebra-based, introductory college-level physics course that explores topics such as kinematics, Newtonian mechanics (including rotational motion); work, energy, and power; mechanical waves and sound; electrostatics; electromagnetism; and introductory, electrical circuits.
Through inquiry-based learning, students will develop scientific critical thinking and reasoning skills. This course, along with Physics 12 (AP), will prepare students for the Advanced Placement Physics 1 Exam. This course is highly recommended for all students intending to study post-secondary Science or Applied Science programs.
